Spring visit to Winterbourne House & Gardens and The Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham

Winterbourne House is a restored Arts and Crafts style house built in 1903. It is owned by the University of Birmingham and opened to the public in 2010.
The seven acre garden was designed by Joseph Lancaster Ball. John Nicholson, a later owner introduced a Japanese tea house and bridge. In 1944 the garden became the University Botanic Garden and we will have a conducted tour.
A light lunch is booked for 1pm followed by a 15 minute walk to the Barber Institute of Fine Arts.
The coach will collect us at 5pm.
