Our 40th anniversary season

We have put together some celebrations which we are sure you will enjoy.

I wonder if Ann Usher and the group of ladies who set up NADFAS Blockley in 1985 thought that we would be celebrating the 40th anniversary in 2025?

Perhaps they did not give the future of the society much thought; however the Heritage Volunteers, whose work was celebrated in an exhibition at Court Barn for our 30th anniversary, were conserving the past for the future.

Although we may not be working on threadbare fabrics and archives, through our support, we can safeguard our cultural heritage for future generations.

Simon Williams

Simon Williams

Don’t put your daughter (or son) on the stage

It’s not a career for the faint or half-hearted. In this lecture Simon Williams will try not to paint too gloomy a picture, but talk about the thrill and process of getting a part and how to prepare for it.

He was smoothie James Bellamy in Upstairs, Downstairs and now plays Justin in The Archers. But Simon Williams is also a husband, a grandfather, a frustrated cricketer and a witty chronicler of modern life.

There will be a celebratory cake with wine after the lecture.

See the programme for more details.
